So after trying to find the parent company for my ISP, I discovered that it is Altice. Our local cable company is Suddenlink, (before that Charter), which was bought out a few years ago apparently by this company. From the outside it seems like they have closed our local call center and speeds have slowed to around 1/2 of what they claim that they offer. I'm on the boarder of WV and OH. Anyone else have this ISP and have you had better experiences than I? I'm curious if it is different from mine. Also looking forward to more competition from other ISPs I've heard might be creeping into the area.

This is all I can find on them:

Suddenlink Communications | High Speed Internet and Cable TV Provider

If Charter sold it, for any reason, that pretty much means it's too much of an issue for them to want to deal with.
