Three of our local tv stations are no longer available. The explanation given by two of the stations is "WKEF and WRGT are operating at reduced power and a lower antenna as part of the recently mandated signal “repack”. This temporary status is due to unavoidable delays in tower crew availability required given the multiple stations across the country going through the same process. We are trying to expedite the situation and will keep you informed of changes. We appreciate your viewership and thank you for your patience." Source Link

And then yesterday, another station has gone down, probably for the same reason. And after reading comments on Facebook, a 4th station is telling viewers to be sure and rescan on November 8th. Of course, nobody has faith that the station will also be no available.

This is very frustrating, and I am thankful for Hulu and Prime.

Re scanning will help once they get the proper towers up.

Yes, some stations do this occasionally. I call it "reducing costs". Rescanning now might not hurt as you may still pick up those stations on different channels.

That's true! We finally got our CBS affiliate back last week, when the weather improved enough for the tower to be repaired!
