I have 2 homes and pay for cable tv in both.

    NY Home - Directtv $105/month, Optimum wifi - $65/month
FL Home - Xfinity for tv and wifi, $116/month

I would like to reduce this.
We watch mostly local channels, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNBC
    No premium channels.
    Netflix, but have that covered.
We record alot to DVR and watch at a later time, usually only watch News and CNBC live real time.
    No sports.

    What would work the best?
I assume I still need wifi in both locations, but is there a service that would be best to share across both homes?
Also has to be easy to use, like pick up remote and turn on and go to DVR or channel.

I think you will be ok with any of the major, such as Sling, Hulu with Live TV, or YouTube TV (there are others also) Yes you need internet in both places. Check Verizon FIOS, they have/had a 39 dollar a month plan, that could work for you and has the speed you need for streaming. You will also need equipment, either Fire TV, Roku, Android TV OR Apple TV. Some of the services do not offer local channels, such as Sling TV, BUT their app is able to bring in locals from an antenna.

We use Roku, and in your situation, I would go with either YouTube TV, or Hulu Live TV. I lean towards YouTube TV over the two. And we're very happy with our Roku Boxes.

Long time YouTube TV user here and we love it. And the app is available on almost all platforms. And allows unlimited DVR and 3 concurrent streams.
