As you may know many T-Mobile accounts now include Netflix. Also I have heard that Comcast is in discussions with Netflix to provide their customers "free" service. What do you all think about this? I KNOW there are some concerns now that net neutrality is gone, BUT still free is good right?
So the main questions are: Who is enjoying it and hoping to see it come to more providers? OR is it a bad thing that might just bring down the internet. Exaggerating a bit here, BUT if Netflix (and others, Hulu, Amazon Videos, etc) are given a preferred path, might that just hurt competition from others AND negatively affect other network traffic from our providers?
Currently have it free with Tmo and loving it. I hope this opens the doors for more providers to offer for their customers..........providing Netflix can handle the bandwidth.

Not really for us cord cutters, BUT it appears they DO have a new deal with Comcast......
I have only two providers in my area - Spectrum and AT&T. The latter sucks really bad at my home in providing consistent internet so after about 8 months of heartburn I dumped them and from a technical perspective I only have one provider with reliable internet service - Spectrum. But I do have free Netflix courtesy of Samsung promo codes till March 2019. After that I will use my TMO provided free Netflix.
I wish I got free Netflix from T-Mobile, but the 55+ plan doesn't include it. As for Xfinity, it will be interesting to see how it works. I half suspect that you will only get the free Netflix if you watch it through Comcast -- either through a cable box, the Comcast TV website, or the Comcast Video app. I'll also be curious if 4K content will be available -- which could save on my home Internet usage.

Only certain plans will get it also. I will bet money it won’t be the internet only plan!
Side note, I got an e-mail from Spotify that I can change my 9.99 plan to 12.99/month and get basic Hulu. Anyone else see this?
Yeah I saw that. Problem is I’m on a Spotify family plan. You’d think they would still offer Hulu for an additional $3/month but there’s nothing yet. Bummer!
I have tried free Netflix and I quite appreciate their limited offer. However, I'll still prefer the premium subscription in almost all entertainment streaming.
