    Folks,

As anyone heard of and/or tried Philo TV? Its a newer service, BUT has some interesting channels, AND some great pricing. You don't get any "premiums" and sports is also lacking, BUT they have some good entertainment, and news channels.

Phil did a nice writeup on it a few weeks ago....

Holy schnikes that's a lot of channels. None of the big networks (ABC, NBC, CBS) but still a lot of channels at a great price.

I guess the presumption is that you will use an OTA antenna.

Yeah, it's awesome, a couple of things to highlight:
-You can start a free 2 day trial with only a phone number and up to five more days if you enter your card info.
    -Allows up to three streams
-Has unlimited recordings for a whole tv show, and their DVR is great.

I looked a Philo. Not for me, but I think my parents would love it. AMC, BBC America, Hallmark. The only channel missing is USA, because no NBCUni channels.
