I have been using a Tivo Roamio for years connected directly to my TV. I'm ready to switch to Tablo or something similar but have this concern. My internet service is provided by my apartment complex thus my WiFi is shared among 40 apartments. If i switch to a streaming DVR such as Tablo, will I be able to maintain full control of it or will my neighbors have access to my box?

I'd venture to say that if the Tablo device has security built in that you can lock it down, then your neighbors might be able to "see" the device, but not access it.
