Looking to pick one up but honestly, their site doesn't really highlight the differences between the different price points. Are you using one, which one? Which works 'best' in your opinion?
The same but different, IF your TV supports CEC (it might and it might need to be enabled) then your TV remote can automatically control your set top box, Fire TV, Roku, Shield etc. THAT is what I am doing. What’s really cool is that my Vizio remote has a build in keyboard so entering URL, or doing searches are so much easier!
I'm going to setup a new Home Assistant hass.io RasPi, so I'm going to use an old Android tablet as a custom control in my living room. I have just the Harmony Hub specifically for this purpose.
I have a Harmony 650, (about $38.00 at Amazon). I have it set up to work with my ROKU express+. It does everything you would want it to do. This having YouTube tv with no ability to control without a remote is nuts. Turns on the receiver, tv and works just like my system with a DirecTV box used to do.
