    Folks,

Ok so what is your preferred streaming device? I happen to have JUST about everything. Yea yea I'm an addict. I have a couple Roku(s) including a TV with it built in. An Apple TV (3rd Gen.). Both an old school Vizio CoStar Google TV (barely works anymore) AND the newer Android TV, in this case a Xaiomi MI Box. And finally several Fire TV sticks and 1 Fire TV Box (second gen WITH ethernet). OH also one of my TV's is "smart" and has direct access to several streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.

As to my favorite I would say its the Fire TV box. It's easy to use and configure. It has ethernet which works great! Of course it can also work wirelessly. It can be expanded via USB stick OR SD card! And the price was VERY reasonable (when compared to the NVIDIA Shield for example)

So what about you guys? What's your box (or stick) of choice?

We have three ATV's (two series 4 and 1 4K thanks to DirecTV) plus our iPhones and iPads. That's about all we use.

My Apple TV 4th gen covers all I use right now but I'm looking to move to something else soon. Just not really sure yet what that something else is yet.

My favorite is the Roku. I'm on my third "Roku", my current is a Hitachi TV with Roku built in. I use Apple TV on occasion, and on rare occasions I'll use my Chromecast.

I’m quite impressed with my TCL Roku TV!

I’m all-in on AppleTV. We have two 4th gens in the house. I have a ton of purchased content on iTunes and DirecTV NOW works really well with my AppleTVs.

I'm really enjoying my Roku Ultra, model 4660R, which I picked up for $90 at the local Best Buy. I use its Ethernet port. It also has USB and a microSD slot. I use the headphone jack on the remote late at night.

I wish the remote had backlit keys and a mute button, though. I know these companies save money on less capable remotes.

Switching up my answer since I got my Shield! Lol. Now I would say my favorite is the NVIDIA Shield TV.

Honestly, I'm super impressed the Shield is still going. They continue to add new stuff and bring new features.

Roku Ultra takes care of all my streaming needs. Beats having to use my Xbox One S for Netflix and Amazon video.
Like it was said above by another poster, I wish the remote was backlit but that's a minor quibble for me.

I have a 36" with Roku built-in, an XBox One S, a Roku on a 60USD projector, and another TV for my oldest with a Fire TV stick and another Xbox One S. I'm also going to add some sort of RasPi to a Arcade1Up and add Kodi plug-ins to that as well.

Oh, and our iPhones and iPads. Since we have unlimited data we use Youtube TV and Netflix on our mobile devices when we're not at home.

I have both Roku 2 (living room), and Amazon Fire Stick (bedroom). I like the Fire Stick better. It has more options.

With the latest model, the Fire Stick 4K, that really is the best way to go. It is the most cost effective. Now if money is no object, then I say get an Nvidia Shield TV.

    I don't need 4k since I don't have a 4k tv. So I am happy with what I have.

True! And it’s tough to find 4K content as well.
